National Dentist’s Day-Dr.Keith

With today being National Dentist’s Day we thought we would familiarize you with one of your favorite local Lindale dentists. One of the men responsible for keeping our patients’ mouths healthy year after year, our very own Dr.Clay Keith. 

Dental Education

Dr.Keith is a native of historic Jefferson, Texas, where he graduated salutatorian of his class.He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University (Class of ‘96). He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. 

After receiving his license, he returned to East Texas to practice dentistry. And we are so glad to have him! He makes such a big difference in the dental care of our community. 

Passion to Become a Dentist

Dr.Keith is passionate about being able to give someone’s life back to them. He always talks about how he loves being able to see someone smile again after not having so in such a long time. Being able to make someone feel so good about themselves is so satisfying to him. He says that the ability to erase years of embarrassment and neglect and help them to become the best versions of themselves is extremely gratifying. 

We love that he is so passionate about helping the people in the community that he serves. You can tell that when he treats his patients that he truly cares about each and every one. If you have been in for a dental procedure with Dr. Keith we are sure you have experienced this! 

Challenges of the Dental Career

Being a dentist can come with many challenges and the one that is the toughest for Dr.Keith is convincing skeptical dental patients who have had bad experiences in the past that he won’t repeat them. Dental anxiety is a real thing and sometimes that is hard for patients to overcome.

A little birdy told us Dr.Keith used to be in a breakdancing group in 5th grade so maybe we can convince “Ozone” to show us some moves one day. We hear he can still do the moonwalk!
